Pretty Poison Redesign
The primary objective of this project was to redesign Nessa Barrett’s hit debut EP “pretty poison” using a cohesive visual system that authentically reflects Nessa Barrett as an artist and to accurately convey the tone and underlying messages of her songs through visuals. The intention behind this design is to capture the personal nature of this album for Nessa by creating an album cover that resembles a diary or journal where she documents her emotions. Through Nessa’s songs, she expresses her frustrations with online scrutiny, and the album design effectively translates her personal experiences and feelings into a cohesive visual expression. To reinforce Nessa’s brand identity, the visual language of the album cover is applied to digital elements and promotional materials. The cohesiveness of this approach ensures that her visual style remains uniform across various media, providing an immersive experience for her followers.
